This Sunday beginning at 2pm, with comments from Johnny Earl, President of the Wayne Morse Historical Park Corporation, and others, come help the Eugene/Springfield NAACP celebrate the progressive legacy of Wayne Morse. Join us for a dedication ceremony at the Mims House commemorating Senator Morse’s historic contributions to civil rights.
Walk with us in the Eugene Parade starting at 9 am on Sunday, July 30th at Monroe Park (Broadway and Monroe)! We’ll join forces with 350 Eugene and others to support a green economy and civil rights!
After the City Parade and the Eugfun Concerts and Events, head over to the Historic Mims House at 330 High Street (between E. 3rd and 4th Ave) to help commemorate a Local Progressive Hero Who opened the door for Our Progressive Politics Today.
