Each year on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the City of Eugene Human Rights Commission recognizes a nominee(s) for their contribution in the area of human rights and race relations. This annual award is given to local change makers in an effort to acknowledge the time and talents they give to our community.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a perfect opportunity to remember the power that each community member has to make change right here in Eugene.

Please consider nominating a community member you believe meets this criteria.

Remember, anyone who has received the award in the past, is a City of Eugene employee, or is currently a member of the Human Rights Commission is ineligible for the award. The deadline to nominate is December 15, 2016.
