Scholarship Opportunities: Microsoft and Lane County Pathways to Teaching Scholarships!

As part Teach Oregon work and in collaboration with partners across Lane County, Springfield is participating in the Lane County Pathways in Education Program. The Pathways Program will award scholarships to support local residents who are interested in pursuing a career in education.

Do you know someone who wants to pursue a career in teaching?
The Pathways in Education Program will award scholarships ranging from $2,500 – $15,000 (based on educational need) to successful applicants. The funds are intended to assist students who wish to further their career in teaching, but not intended to completely fund an individual’s education.

The Pathways program is working to diversify our teaching force in three ways: linguistically, culturally, and socio-economically.
We are actively seeking people who speak multiple languages, are culturally diverse, and/or are first-generation college students. Meeting one of these descriptors is required in order to be eligible for the Teacher Pathways program.
