A Conversation and Performance with Nathalie Joachim (of Eighth Blackbird)

Eugene Symphony in partnership with Eugene/Springfield NAACP invite you to join us for a special performance and conversation with Nathalie Joachim, co-artistic director and flutist of the four-time Grammy winning contemporary chamber ensemble Eighth Blackbird, and co- founder of the critically acclaimed urban art pop duo, Flutronix. In support of the NAACP ACT-SO program, Nathalie will perform two solo pieces and give a talk about her personal experience as a Black female artist. Reception starts at 2:30pm. Performance and presentation begin at 3:00pm. Free and open to the public.
