BTS Spring Event!

This Saturday, on May 4th, the Back-to-School Program and the NAACP Youth Council are joining together for a spring event. We will be launching structural changes within the BTS Program, and would like for all students to join us for a a day of community building, fun activities, and even a raffle. The Youth Council will be joining us to talk about community activism and how students can make a difference in their communities. If you have never attended the program before, we encourage you to come, as this is a great opportunity to make friends, and learn about all the programs that the local NAACP has to offer.
As this session is central on community, we would like for you to bring a friend! The BTS Program will be hosting a raffle for movie tickets, Dutch Bro coffee cards, and more. Every student who attends gets a raffle ticket, and if you bring a friend, both of you get an extra ticket. And sense its May 4th, come with any Star Wars themed regalia and receive another raffle ticket.
The event will take place at our usual tutoring location, the Downtown Lane Building (across from the library) and on the Second floor Rm. 209, from 10am-12pm. Snacks will be provided.
If assistance with transportation is needed, please feel free to contact me, as the NAACP can provide free bus passes.
