Mother’s Day Weekend Community Drive thru BBQ and Plant Give Away!

The NAACP is Hosting a Free Mother’s day Weekend Community Drive BBQ to celebrate all the women in our lives and to acknowledge all mothers and participants of the Sisters summit to be held May 8th 1-4 pm on Zoom.( Contact Dr. Lawrence Rasheed for more information 541-463-5150) . Social distancing practices will be observed
Mother’s Day Weekend Celebration Schedule!
May 8th 1-4 pm Sister Summit- Online forum for girls of color to connect with With local professional women of color for discussions and workshops
- Participants will receive acknowledgement and a gift for thier participation at the Mims Drive Thru BBQ on Saturday!
May 9th 12-2 pm Free Community Mother’s Day Drive thru BBQ!
- Drive by the Historic Mims House between 12-2 pm for a fresh boxed BBQ Lunch prepared by the Lane Community College Culinary Department.
- Our ECJ team will also be doing a edible plant and seed give away to those who stop by as well!
