The Eugene/Springfield NAACP is opening the doors of the Mims house for a benefit on the 93rd Birthday of the Heavy Weight Champion of the Tenor Saxophone; John W. Coltrane!

Coltrane represents the creative genius to be found in persons of African Decent. Join us in celebrating the word of this great American composer and thinker! Master educator and drummer Kenny Reed will join Branch President Eric Richardson on Bass and Local Saxophonist Benjamin Cradell for an evening of reflection on and a short set of Coltrane’s Music.
