Respectful Kids in a Diverse World: part 2, The Followup Workshop for Parents & Teachers

you are invited to Raising Respectful Kids in a Diverse World: part 2, The Followup Workshop for Parents & Teachers in the dance and movement communities. You are welcome to attend this event even if you weren’t able to make the first one. 
 
Facilitated by Johnny Lake, PhD, Advocate for Children.
Childcare and snacks will be provided. Suggested donation of $5-25, no one turned away for lack of funds. Please register by Dec 13th through the CALC website or by visiting this registration link.
 
Spread the Word! This event holds an important balance of including people who have been targeted by racism, gender oppression, and ableism and those who would like to understand the impacts of these oppression better.

Here’s the link to the Facebook event. Feel free to print the event flyer and post it at key locations where parents and teachers would see it. This event is co-sponsored by the Eugene-Springfield chapter of the NAACP, Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), and CALC.
 
We are planning a longer series on interrupting racism with Dr. Lake for this coming spring. We’re looking for collaborators within the public school system. If you are interested in helping us get the word out or finding an ideal location, get in touch!
