Springfield City Council Meeting -Crucial Decisions Being Considered-

The Springfield City Council will meet for its regular session at 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 19th, via phone and internet using GoToWebinar. Members of the public wishing to attend this meeting electronically can call in or attend virtually by following the directions below. This information can also be found on the City’s website. Members of the public are encouraged to attend virtually but, if you are unable to and wish to attend in person, the doors at the South Entrance of City Hall will be open at 6:50 p.m. to allow people to attend the meeting in the Council Chambers. Social distancing practices will be enforced. If you would like to provide public testimony in advance, that will be entered into the record, you can email that to publicrecords@springfield-or.gov by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19th, 2020. The community is welcome to attend. During regular meetings, community members may address the Council either during a Public Hearing on a specific subject, or under Business from the Audience on any subject of interest to the community member.Issues to be considered:

  • STOPS Data Stats
    • Going to compare percentages of stops and citations to demographic percentages
  • Mayoral Appointment
  • Response to SAfER letter
  • Supplemental Budget Public Hearing

The meeting location is wheelchair-accessible. For the hearing-impaired, an interpreter can be provided with 48 hours’ notice prior to the meeting.
